Hiya kids!! What to do on a beautiful leap day?? Why play hooky from work and go detecting of course!! Out 'n about today for several hours to yet another well pounded park (aren't they all these days?? 
).
Todays totals: '44 merc (silver coin no. 9), 5 wheats ('37, '45, '48, '50d, '51d; not pictured); sterling ring; junk ring; 1968-69 Chicago dog license; 192? (last digit is a 3 or an 8 ) Chicago passenger auto license- reads "Chicago 192? pass auto 3(?)5 h.p. or less 42(3 or 8)72"; and $3.84 in clad (not pictured; includes a Sac dollar). The auto license tag still has bits of the original red paint on it!! KEWL MAN!!
I'll be back at it again tomorrow!!
