First little gold find

I don't even know what to call it. Is it a flake, a chip, a grain, a mini nugget? IDK, but I can tell you I am so happy to find my first piece of Illinois Gold. All of the steps along the way have been fun and educational. I hope this hobby will remain interesting to me for years to come.
