Weather was nice enough for an artifact hunt. Went to this field to look in the brown dirt area.
Getting there I started finding square nails and old broken bottle glass. Came home to grab the DFX and headed back into the field. Glad I did, found this coin and I believe it to be a British Half Penny. Can't see a date on it yet, did some research and believe its a 1799 George III Half Penny. Oldest coin I've ever found in 43 years.
