Here is a little more on Mr. Joe Vaughn.Joe Vaughn (1844 - 1926) - Find A Grave Memorial He if true rest at Snow Cemetery at Wayton, Arkansas. Of interest to me is that he was a Freemason. If all this story is true then it could be very significant. This would and could be the Masonic K.G.C. connection that we all have looked for. It seems most of the Vaughn men were Freemasons. More coffee and R & I.

Buffalo Lodge# 366 is no longer listed in the Arkansas lodge list. It must have consolidated with another local lodge.

Made the trip to Snow Cemetery a couple of years ago. A lot of history in the area.

Daniel Frew thanks for the post. This area is filled with history. If you Google Earth this it's very close to the Pea Ridge battlefield. Don't think that I would have found this on my own. Still doing R & I on the Vaughn/James family. Think that you should pour yourself a Big Mug of coffee. Put a big feather in your hat a Turkey feather will work just fine.
