LDM why you can't get it ! MAP #23 (Sleeping Lady)

"Sleeping Lady Squaw Map"

There are a few points I would like to make here.

1) Who says, the "Sleeping Lady" is all about female body parts ?

Yes, I have seen some of the photo's offered by "dutch hunters" that
relate to body parts. I find this Locked On direction about as straight
and narrow as the 4 Peaks stand behind each other, in line. You know
my position on this, "They Stand Together Beside Each Other At The
Same Height !" Guardia Urbano.

A few of us know about the mustered out Cavalry soldiers from Fort
Mc Dowell finding the bags of Gold, which I have deduced was found
at Red Mountain most likely near the Massacre spot.

I believe this MAP is a reflection of the view headed away from Fort
Mc Dowell towards the Salt River nearest the Verde River and Red
Mountain in the distance on the right.

The "Key to mines", "Three stones all by them selves", is the out
cropping I have referred to several times. Located down the arroyo
on the right from Red Mountain as one looks up hill, Red Mountain
on the left, out cropping on the right. As viewed from satellite images
there are 4 stones. I believe viewed from the map makers perspective
the stone furthest on the right is not included because of its shallow
depth at the surface.

I will not take the time to red pencil anything here, as the images I
offer make this Similarity easy to understand.

Those of you who take the time to investigate my findings with the
tools I use Google Earth, can solidify their feelings one way or the
other on the Accuracy of the information I offer.

Because some of us may be preoccupied at the moment, look for
the Nose, the rest will come into view.

Hi JackH
You are obsessed with the " Red Mountain " .
The "Key " of the map "Sleeping Lady " is in Needle Canyon , just North of Weaver's Needle . Except the two black points , the other are landmarks . Turn " up side down " the map and make huge the points . What you see ? Are two faces . The right crying and the left smiles . The left is the mine place ( the same place with the " MINA " on the right side of " Manuel Peralta " map ) .
The left black polnt is close to La Barge Canyon below Bluff Spring Mountain . The next picture is "gift " and have below the coordinates .
I hope to smile a smart hunter .

Marius,

You are Correct, my Only Reason for being here is "Red Mountain !"

Let me counter with:

The two (2) upper dots,

Left dot: Peak nearest San Tan Valley.

Right dot: Sierra Estrella and the range pointing back at Red Mountain.
Which I believe are two of the holes on the "Heart Stone". Estrella being
the triangle/elongated hole & river valley beyond.

The (stone) 50: outcropping nearest Red Mountain, or in this case
"Sleeping Lady Squaw" is Red Mountain.

The direction of my investigation of this Subject (Peralta/LDM) uses limited
resources. Limited to the simple technologies as were used in the Day.
Except for the exceptional use of Satellite images to take me to a place
several thousands of miles away. Up close with a degree of accuracy, & a
good map.

(Key to mines) Three stones all by them selves: the curved arrow points
exactly where the three (3) stones are in relationship to Red Mountain
coming up from the Salt. And the (*) is fairly close in this relationship
with one too many ridge lines.

Correction: The stone on the right of the four (4) in the satellite image
rolled out of where the pin placement is, due to the Earthquake that
happened several decades ago. This also accounts for the change of
another large rock or rocks dislodging at the (stone) 50 outcropping.

Three stones by them selves: view from approach coming up arroyo.

P.S.

Look the new picture from North . In the yellow circle , the rocks outlines shows like a "Sleeping Lady " . In the right picture looks better .

"From the hill above my mine, to the north, the Four Peaks appear as one, and in the other direction you can see a Needle," and, "My mine is within five miles of Weaver's Needle !

I would like to mention the outcropping that keeps coming up (3 stones):

"From the hill above my mine to the north" is exactly that.

Waltz hands in the richest ore ever unearthed. As a prospector this action puts a Target on you Forever.

Waltz has caches hidden, and may never have re-entered the Sacred Mine, now that he is a Target. And
thoughtfully hidden the Mine, because he may never have re-entered.

How would you in his boots, get most of those interested off your back ?

Exactly as he has done, give them someplace to look 20 miles from your Valhalla.

Weavers Needle is @ 20 miles from Red Mountain and a 5 mile circle/radius will remove a lot of people
off your back for a long time. All focused on the Needle

Those who believe "The Dutchman" would actually give away his Secret, don't remember Waltz was an
educated man, with a Target on his back.

Because of his Target, Waltz had a lot of gravity, but he could also send you on your Merry Way just as fast.

Is unbelievable . The map match in two different places . Peraltas made all in double .
Five stone maps ( Trail 1, Trail 2 , Heart stone , latin heart , the single Cross ) have double faced meanings . They gave us to choose between two black points , two words ,two places , etc.
What can I say ? I am little confused , but never mind . I will find the solution .
Good minds

Marius

P.S.

One thing is sure . The Peralta " Heart " stone isn't the same with the heart in " Sleeping Lady " map . The "black points " are in other direction . Because must give you an explanation about "Sleeping Lady " in Needle Canyon , I post two pictures about this .
In Needle Canyon the "Lady " shows from East and to " Red Mountain " shows from North .

Marius,

The Heart in the Heart Stone is turned 90 deg. clockwise. Reason for the curved line
from (1).

Your overlay misses my intention. The "Heart" ? is Red Mountain.

The Salt River is just that in relation to this "Heart" ?

Interesting that you found another "Face".

(Thank You for the "Old Story". It will take time to Respond).

You have right . The Red Mountains have a " Stone " heart . The heart match perfectly with the ground outlines . And the BETTER is how the centre of " Stone " heart , match with the heart in the "Sleeping Lady " map .
I post the "Heart " stone map overlayed in Red Mountain , and the the two maps ( Heart stone & Sleeping Lady ) toghether overlayed in Red Mountain .

Red mountain stone heart.jpg Two hearts.jpg

You know Jack , because the maps match too in the Bluff Spring Mountain , I believe how in the Bluff Spring Mountain are the mines and to the Red Mountain are the caches . I am sure how to the end of the search we find the solution

Marius,

You are close but not exactly what I had pictured.

Secondly, that is not the Face I had in mind.

Take another look at the first picture, the Picacho/Peak
of Red Mountain is the nose of the Sleeping Lady Squaw,
her mouth lower right of the nose!.......J

Is not the Face you had in mind , but looks closer like a " Sleeping lady " . I believe how you took that what you looking for in Red Mountain . This coincidence with the maps ( which surprised me ) is a prove how the searching point was found ( ever to my opinion ) . I don't have anything better to give in this region .
If you insist for something else in this region , I wish you good luck .

Hmm, A map(s) don't always point the way as they are shown, if on the ground view. You may have to find the first marker in the correct viewpoint, to find the second, and so on. And not always is the second sign in front of you, it's behind you or to the side, and only visible when seen from the correct spot of the first. And the marker not only has to be found at the correct angle, but also in some cases the correct height, otherwise the second sign is going to be invisible. And the third/forth/etc.

Find the first correctly, to sight the second in it's correct orientation, to lead you to the third.

You have to "see" the map(s) as they were put down, the view point of the map creator. And think of the time it was created to help understand it.

Mina doesn't just mean mine, it's also used to describe a hole/pit/and a few other things. Too many are using current language and info (ie: google earth) when the map makers didn't have or use them to create the map. The map makers were on foot, seeing the markers as they made the trip.

And yeah I think you, JackH are on the right mountain. Problem is, to cover the map area to get to the mine/caches, means crossing Indian reservation protected land.
And I also agree with you, Peltra, Waltz, LDM, are all the same per se.

Least how I read it, the Peltras had the mine(s), stashed a lot of it due to the conditions of the day, never made it back to retrieve it all.
Waltz found either the mine itself or one or more of the stashes, and took the story to the grave.
The so called "story" of the LDM is just that, a bunch of clues to lead astray those who believe them.

And lastly the Red Mountain at one time was/is just part of the Supers, dependent on you viewing angle.

" And yeah I think you, JackH are on the right mountain " .

Where is the clue who say how the map " Sleeping Lady " is near the " Red mountain " and not in Canada ?
The only clue is in map's title and it is " Squaw " . The Squaw Canyon is on La Barge Canyon north to Black Mountain .
The other who you wrote , you are right .

Maybe the " Three stones all by them selves " ( the key of the map ) are one thing : Weaver's Needle .
Michael Humphrey wrote in his article at Arizona Trailblazers - Trip Report
" As we go down the trail Weaver’s Needle changes shape as the three peaks that make up the mountain come into view. The three peaks are made up of the same lava from the same time, very hard to tell apart except when you are up close. It is easy to see the slot on the right side of the center peak where climbers go the top. No one is climbing today. "

Hello Marius,

You Sir, could be very Right.

But I have been doing this for a few years now. I have learned
much more than I learned before. Finding information for posting
and trying to explain my thoughts on these threads. I am thoroughly
convinced that my signature below says all I need to say about my search............

Agreed Marius,

But deciding which direction to take, based on interpreting the information
available, is the Dilemma.

And there is only One reason I can be Right so many times. And so fewer
times wrong.

In most instances, I let my errors stand to show the course of my direction.
And correct/edit the delivery of my intentions.

On the sleeping lady map where is the gold? Is it the asterisks, the stone or some place else on the map?
