    USGS Topo maps
    USGS 1 meter ortho
    LanSat 7 visiable color

    ... and tons of other features. Learning curve (at least there was for me).

    Far better than google earth IMHO. Click on the link below ...

    Better no different yes.

    Actually world wind became keyhole which became google earth.

    Google earth pro allows for purchase of topo overlays but since this is given toward corperations the prices are heavy 450 for pro an then subscription can cost more.

    This download requires Net Frame 2 by Microsoft. You will have to download. NetFrame 2 is Not comapatable with Windows XP x64.
    Microsoft Live has a Earth sattlelite map that Is compatable.
