Just released is a CD with over 100 maps strictly of The City of Fort Worth & Tarrant County...Pretty stoked about this find! I'll attache 3 different shots of an area we have been hunting all Summer long. Our local Lake is at a historical low level and the structures we have been hunting have been under water for 54 years. One map is from 1895 and it shows homesites which are black squares with the owners name...Rental homes are a triangle. Hashed lines are the Old Wagon Rds. The other maps or from 1920 and 1943 at the same location...I can finally name the property owners from years gone by. We have found some very cool items here. The site were we have really done well is the E.X. Boaz place and it sits upper center of the 1895 shot. E.X. Boaz was one of the founding pioneers of Benbrook, TX just a bit SW of Ft. Worth. His old home has been covered with of 16ft of water of Lake Benbrook since 1957...Thaks for looking!
