hello all, glad to have found the forum! Well, I've never been much of an explorer but recently I have just been reading text after text of American History and its a bit of a passion now. Being born here in Boston I just love reading about the rich history that took place only miles from my house. As far as hunting goes, my experience is limited to beach explorations searching for nice examples of seaglass. Sure, it's not worth much but my girlfriend and I just love finding pieces. This past week I was down in Chatham and saw numerous people with MD's and thought... I'd love to do that. Well, I have no idea how MD's work and what is the best type to buy. I have kind of a tight budget so I can't go to overboard, any help and suggestions would be most helpful!
