Hey Mark.....sry it has taken so long to get back to you.....my best advise is to refer to your manual. They have specific instructions on how to "pinpoint'' I am but an amature compared to the engineers who designed and manufactured the Ace 350. I hunt is some heavily mineralized ground in PA. and Ohio and sometimes I have a "hell of a time" pinpointing myself.....so just read and practice.....HH my friend.
