  • Hi Matey, no answer from you my fav expert on my latest post.

Thought you might have ideas of what it would be used for on a ship.

Comes back as being 1740s like the anchor but because of the metal content English.

Yet found no more than 100 feet from the Spanish anchor.

    Regards, Bob

There are ways to comply with the UNESCO convention and still make a profit, I have noticed some artifacts never get entered into the archives, and are sold off on the side, that was a government department that done that, so you right corruption is every were, can I ask who you are no one knows,

    Hello Magoopeter

Who am I? I do not officially exist. I am a ghost. I cannot de-nigh or confirm projects I have been connected with. I am legally bound to confidentiality agreements. A choice between a deep dark prison cell or retirement with properties, gold, shares and life of leisure. I have more to lose than I have to gain these days.

    Crow,
Do you have any info on British pirate Aurthur Catt? There is a town and Island named after him in the Bahamas. Aurthur Town and Cat Island.
He was friends with: Blackbeard and numerous other pirates, never got rounded up in the Bahamas. Kind of interesting since he ws well known locally.
Kind of secrecy to it all like Henry Avery ( Benjamin "Long Ben" Barnett? ).
    -Regards

    Hello Mike

In regards to the British pirate Arthur Catt? I am not sure about him. I could not find any reference to him in the 19th, 18th, 17th and 16th centuries. I am not sure he ever existed other in 20th century tourist brochures.

I think I found him... He wasn't a pirate, he was a privateer. Real name Aurthur French, privateer.

Now I'll try to locate a copy or record of any Letters of Marque issued to Aurthur French.

Trying to see if Aurthur French(Catt?) was in the Bahamas.
