Hey! Glad to see your interest in the lost frenchmen mine. I've heard all the same stories. I have to know. When your dad talked to this guy working for the forest service, what year was that in? Also its too bad it got turned into the archeology department. That info will now be forever sealed in the archives out of public information, due to the fact that they want to "presserve" the history. They mean have it rott away. Ugh! I heard that the man as he got older was seen walking up glide or was helicoptered in through glide somewhere. My friend is a geoligist and would like to narrow down the search but the calapooia mountions covers the bohemia and oakridge. Hard to tell where to start.
