  • Flash, this is your after Saturday night update. It's now early Sunday morning I've started working on my coach. It's in front of my garage and I'm taking it apart. The crack is extensive on my driver side exhaust manifold. One of my friends said that they will help me welded it back together. He's an expert at welding cast-iron. I should be able to have it put back together in just about a week. It's all that I can think about now. After a full inspection I found about half a dozen other minor things on the engine. Two things I've already take care of. Tomorrow I start pulling the manifold off the engine block. I'm also going to replace all my fan belts at the same time. I'm going to share this message with the other guys here too. Damn, I may be able to do some gold-mining before the end of the year.
EF is the San Gabriel Mountains East Fork River.
It is 27 miles north up the Hwy39 Azua Canyon road off the 210 FRWY.
East Fork Road E. over the wooden bridge to the trail head on Camp Bonita Road.
The parking lot requires an adventure pass from the Ranger Station.
$5 a day or $30 a year. Disabled can get a free lifetime pass.
East fork is most likely the richest gold area near by. The high desert is good too, a little farther drive.
    Hi GNelson, I'm Rich,
I was wondering if we have meet up at EF. I have been mining up there since 95.
I did time at Follows Camp, at Heaton Flats , and a few times mining at the Oaks Picnic area.
Just wondering. I most likely had a brown short hair pointer with me.
I have a step brother who used to live in La Quinta.
