I wish i knew more about this pump also. I have 2 of these pumps with 5 Hp B/S engines on my 5 inch dredge. I have not checked on what the discharge pressure is or what the gpm is for this pump. I am very confident one pump would be enough to run a 2 inch dredge. Any bigger than that I am not sure. It may be enough for a 3 inch dredge. I was looking at going with a Harbor Freight 6 hp engine for $99 and a Dahlke Pump with a 2" x 1.5" for $450 to replace both of the briggs and stratton and gold king pumps that I have on my dredge. Instead, I got set up to weld aluminum so that i can repair the pump myself. Weld repair is complete. I wish i could help you more, but both pumps worked well on my 5 inch dredge.
