Im guessing you either live in ok or did at some point being that you are a sooner fan. I live in Tulsa and have also been researching the fenn treasure
If it is behind the water fall, one could only see it during the summer and he does say that "Your effort will be worth the cold" Of course if you've gone fly fishing where the brown trout is found , that water is always cold. The other thing is , Forrest was 79 when he buried this treasure, would he be able to take it into the Pecos wilderness in the winter. Gets pretty cold out there.
