both machine are excellent at all around detecting, I am selling so I can buy the minelab 3030 all it does is detects gold it goes for around 2100 or more. I have some gold I tested both machines with an they did great on the bigger nugget about 2.25 grams the minelab detected the smallr single gram nugget and the tesoro did also but faintly. You can buy a strong coil to go with the minelab that will do better with gold now they are on ebal for around 120.
