Well, I have a place up near Wausau, but I have only detected up there a few times. As a matter of fact, my 3 acre back yard used to be an indian village at one time. I have found a few copper artifacts from that era. I swing a whites dfx..I use my bigfoot coil alot, but I just bought a excelerator (12x10" SEF) that I think might help with with getting a little more depth. wish I knew of places to hunt other than parks..haven't had the guts to ask anyone for permission to detect their properties, but I may start asking as I am getting fed up with the empty parks.

Ahh ok.. I go through Manitowoc every so often, but I have never detected there. I think I have been to every park here in Sheboygan, and have found alot of neat things through the years. but, I think the pickings are getting pretty slim as I think all the parks have been pounded for years.

where are you at in Wisc? I am around the Sheboygan area.
