  • Hi. I am sure the Nokta must be a terrific machine. I would love to see how it really operates in the real world conditions around iron and modern trash. Just seems like no one has used one here in the U.S. I would think of possibly being a perfect machine for beach hunting in the wet sand if it can handle conductivity of salt water and black sand at the same time. If you are serious about selling this machine then tell me what you can about its strengths and weaknesses from your perspective. I might be willing to consider buying for the right price. No guarantees right now as I am going to China for the next seven weeks starting Monday. But I could see real possibilities for this machine if it can do as advertised. I have many found many relics over the years but have really found beach and water hunting to be my favorite form of detecting because I have no problem selling the jewelry. Relics I can not make myself sell. Just my thoughts...Stuart
73dguard-hey, good point,thanks...my overalls with layers.... underarmour thermal long sleeve compression t is currently my fav. I gotta have deep pockets, lots of them, and a loose fit without a lot of bulk. Maybe with some more hunting I can save up for a pair of coveralls. I'm pretty sure those are waterproof, keep my knees dry-always a good thing!:icon_thumright:
73dguard-hey, I have found enough jewelry and coins to pay for my (bought used) Whites metal detector. It also covers my gas! Just enjoy the sport, and go often. You will be blessed! Here in the land we are in, try gravel parking lots, and as many places that are nearby that are heavily populated, or were at one time long ago. Once you get going, you will recognize the places that give you a nice return. I go back to those spots often , and they never disappoint. Now, if we could just have a little warmer weather........
Nokta Golden King has user error related bugs that need worked on. The machine will detect anything made of metal, however it's usefulness lies in detecting deep cavities with and metal in these cavities rather than identifying metal type at shallow depth. (Not for coinshooting)
