Moved to Placerville from Maui, last year been setting up house and land. Got all the equipment even BLM claims new and old. Having problem finding places I can use my equipment. Made a solar powered highbanker, so stealthy and no gas engine noise. Have whites best metal detector. Finally want to set some time aside each week and look for the GOLD. Just playing around found about a gram nothing to boast about. No some places or want to get together and talk strategies on where we could go be willin. Most places still open and on BLM land are 45 degree and steeper grades to stream. However, active claims before and after these hard to get to spots. Working on some equipment that would allow a person to get his or her equipment down steep banks. If find a pay area get a BLM claim and get the gold . Some people getting ounce a week just sluicing so I figure hard to reach area's might not of ever had a pan in them. Anyway newbie here but spent the last year looking over maps and BLM maps.

Thanks for checking in. Good luck in Cali. We did some work in N. Cali and it was funny to see the road crews digging trenches and running the dirt through sifters. It was also the same team we saw a 10+girl working a road sign. Good luck
