I'M SO STOKED ! I've been doing repair work on a empty 1920's estate home on 10 acres, and I just got permission to metal detect the entire property. The house has a yard that is about 5 acres big and the back half is over grown. It used to have a tenant house in the back that was torn down over 50 years ago. Was a barn on sight but only the stone silo remains. I'm hoping to finally find my first silver there. Wish me luck! CORRECTION......I just found out today that the house was actually built in 1913 for a man that was a Kentucky senator......even more excited now about the possibilities.
