Happy New Year ncpeaches....I live in Catawba County.I mainly metal detect but always have my eyes open for artifacts..they are amazing to find. it is holding history in your hand..trying to imagine all the places it's been and who had it and what it was used for.HH

Hi geturdug and welcome to Tnet! I have a White's mxt metal detector that was my late husband's and haven't really gotten into using it yet. For now I've been artifact hunting in a creek on my property. Do you hunt for native american artifacts too? What county do you live in?
