In Memory of Canadian Cossack ~ TNet Member
Canadian Cossack was a member of this forum and was a friend. We hunted together only a handful of times but in those occasions I was able to see what a great person he was.
Cossack died doing what he loved doing most...metal detecting. He was actully in the UK for a metal detecting holiday when he passed away while recovering a target.
This is sad and tragic...my thoughts and prayers go out to his family...please take a moment to do a search for Canadian Cossack and think fondly of him.

Re: Sad News...Canadian Cossack has Died
Don't know how I missed this post - but, I wish Canadian Cossack an eternity of great detecting in the afterlife.
If the good lord calls you, doing what you love when the call comes is the way to go.
Several years ago, a long time family friend passed while gold panning in a creek with his wife. While his wife was very sad, I remember her telling me that he had said that, when he goes, he wants to be panning in a creek - and he did.
I hope CC's family can take some comfort in that. RIP.

May he find heaven's gold.

Sometime's there's only one way.
