Daughter and i want to nugget hunt out west. Where should we go?

My 11yr old daughter wants to go out and try her hand at finding a nugget with her ACE 250. I have an Excalibur that i will be using. Where is the best place to have her find something. Also would like to know how well does the excalibur do when nugget shooting. How small of a piece will it find? i have found BB's on land with it, but nothing smaller than that.
