Book : "Gold Prospecting with a VLF Metal Detector", by Dave Johnson

Hi Everyone !

I know this post is probably more appropriate for the OUR COMMUNITY board > MY FAVORITES forum > Books, or the RESEARCH / TECHNIQUES board > RECOMMENDED READING forum, but what the heck, this is where the Gold Hunters hang out and they should know.....right !

I'm thinking about buying the subject book, but would first like some opinions from those of you who have read it.

Here's one I recommend for nugget shooters: "The Complete, Unabridged Zip Zip"- by Larry Sallee
It's out of print and hard to find. check e-bay etc.

Thanks for the link Mike . Great reading , I am still happy with my gold bug pro.Don't get to use it like I want too,but hopefully I will get more time this year . You need to get trinityau on arizona forums to write some articles on the gbp .He is wealth of information. He knows it inside and out . I learned a lot from his post's .He is deadly with his. And thanks for a great detector, now just make a waterproof kit for it !
