Yes the clay really hangs on to the gold at that spot.

Crazy you would think after millions of years them nuggets would go deeper. Maybe the rodents are bringing them up..lol IDK

Yes its crazy no sand or gravel just clay/mud and nugget!

i always check the gopher mounds, no luck on them yet..those are some really nice pieces, and 3 in a row!!!
