placer gold

has anybody found placer gold in new hampshire river's or stream's other than the ammonoosuc river?
i would like to know.
i have worked in forestry for over 24 years in n.h.and have covered a lot of forest with stream's and have looked in them,and i have never even located black sand.
if anybody has had good luck locating gold please tell me.

heard tell of motherlode area that runs through Canada north of NH, so probably could find the glacial till maps and checkout the bedrock and creeks in those areas..
