Jawbone pic's human or animal?

I usually hunt alone and in the backcountry so was being very cautious around this site. The hole below the jawbone is left from where the portal of an abandoned hard rock mine has been blasted shut some years ago. I pitched a few stones down and they go quite a ways. Result..this is as close as I could get to the bone without risking a slide down. It's an unusual place for a deer jaw and there are no other bones around. Care to venture an opinion anyone?

Yup, deer jawbone. Teeth are all wrong for human , plus the length.

I think about 8 or 9 states, Ronbo. I'll be going back in next week and think i'll cut a pole and poke that jaw down the hole so's no one will try to retrieve it and get in serious trouble. In case it's Jimmy or Amelia or any one else it will have a decent burial.
