Has anybody ever used one of these Treasure Atlases? I believe the guy's name who wrote them is Terry Thomas. My state is up for auction right now for 3.99 so I was thinking I'd bid because it would be fun to read. Has anybody else here ever bought one of these for their state? I'm not counting on finding treasure from using it, but with over 5,000 entries per book it sounds like it might be entertaining winter reading.

Yes, I have the 1 for my state & area. It has all of the common TH'ing tales, legends, etc. (some true & some may be not). Obviously a lot of time, effort & research went into them. It's interesting to see just how many TH'ing stories there really are in this country. These books can get your creative juices flowing & can motivate & inspire you to possibly find some of the lost treasure. But yes...I would highly recommend adding them to your TH'ing Library.

ANY bit of info on your area is allways worth getting , all it takes is one good bit of info to change everything , I myself an I'm sure others have stacks of books an collect more any chance I can. Maps are also great anytime you can get an old map of your area or state jump on it their worth the money an makes research allot easier .

Well said, Tank. I'm hoping nobody else bids on the book for my state, for four bucks and shipping for a new copy I'm thinking it's well worth it.
