Need advice on beach hunting

Hello all... I am new to treasure finding having recently gotten the BeachHunter ID from White's. The only thing I have found so far is a can of mountain dew 1ft deep. Can anyone share techniques that relate specifically to the beach? Best to look at the low/high water mark? Water's edge? etc.

Hi,

First advice is to scroll down and check out the beach forum. I have a BHID. i hunt using all metal, gives a little more depth and the lights still give acceptable discrimination. Ground balance it before using to achieve steady treshold. If you want to find the good stuff dig all signals except the red tone. pulltabs and bottlecaps will beep at the yellow, same as gold, silver will beep at the blue. Its a fun machine in and out of the water. Enjoy.
