Some metal detecting on History Channel tonight???

I heard that on Battle Field Detectives tonight on the History Channel is suppose to show some Metal Detecting use as they investigate some Civil War battlefields....at least that is what I hear. You may want to tune in and check it out 8pm EST.

Did any one see "This Old House" channel 20 on Sunday 12-19-04?They had bought a old home and are in the process of rebuilding the whole building and they had a guest metal detectorer who was showing some of the items he had found so far. A old cannon ball...Some old coins and other items..He is going to make a memoreal area for the people who buy the building to use as a museum or conversation area. Cool!
Good publicity for the metal detecting hobby.

Jeez.......Did you see the size of the hole that guy hacked to uncover that musket round ball? You would have thought he was gonna dig up a cannon. Cant believe they let them do that on a battlefield....and film them doing it to boot! And we have to worry about covering our plug holes. Must be nice! All in the name of TV.
