New clip that comes with up grade

Just got my AT PRO back and there was a small mental clip taped to the stem, called garrett and the lady said it went under the arm cuff but I don't see how or why. She said it was on page 10 of the manual to the AT PRO Gold which I don't have mine is a AT PRO , any Ideas Thanks !!!!!!

Its for the headphone cable...

Unscrew the screw attaching the cuff to the stem and slip the clip onto the screw and reattach.

From the Garrett AT Gold manual.

Secure the headphone cable under the detector's arm cuff by
pressing the cable into the headphone cable clip.
