    Well made up my mind

Well after about 2 weeks trying to figure out what machine i wanted to get and reading countless posts and watching way to many videos,i have decided on the Fisher 1236X2.It seems to be what i'm looking for for the type of hunting i'm going to be doing.

That is one nice detector too. Have fun and enjoy it.

It feels good to finally come to a final decision. Now you just need to decide if you want to buy it used, new or refurbished.

That's very true.Do they even still offer this one new?If so then that might be the way i go but if i can get a decent used one that's not been abused then that's another consideration also.Gonna need a to get a pinpointer, probe, digging tool and some headphones also, when i got rid of my Tesoro i included all that in my sale.Dummy me.

    richbat,

I did a quick search. It is hard to tell which are still active. This one was a good price, http://www.columbiametaldetectors.com/1236x2.html

I searched for "1236X2" and got a lot of hits most reviews, but a few sellers, some used.

    Good Luck,

    Ed D.
