ALWAYS LOOK FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION IN YOUR TOWN OR DEMOLTIONS OF BUILDINGS AND ASK PERMISSION TO DO THE SITE. (its amazing whats a couple of feet down) . my buddie got a lead about a park that was dug up to redo the drainage. we had a ball finding stuff. some coins were right on top. weaties, v nickels,mercs,annual fair coin, a war metal, bottles, an lots of pottery.REMEMBER IF ITS PRIVATE LAND , GET PERMMISION. NOTHING WORSE THAN GETTING KICKED OUT AN LOSING THE CHANCE. HAPPY 2005 HUNTING!

Don't forget road projects...they can also be awsome to hunt. It is a little tougher to get permission on them though..and sometimes the police don't take kindly to you being there after hours....no that I would know anythng about that.
