steam clean?
I work at a automotive service department. We have a parts cleaner that uses high pressure steam. Has anyone used this sort of method for cleaning anything, or does anyone have any insight into it?

Oh I have tossed the idea around in my head before but never got around to trying it out plus I don't have access to a steamer so that kinda slowed me down too. I would think that parts cleaner would at least be able to melt some crud off a heavy crudded coin.
Hope to see ya give it a try and see how it works for cleaning up finds.
I would try out a cruddy penny and see how it comes out.
Good luck..............................................

It does clean up a lot of the grime also leaves them looking rusty, trying some oil now to see if that brings them back.
