Any possible ID??
Lake here has been completely drained...literally....zero water.
I'm out swinging coil and pulled this up. I assume from a boat, but no idea. Bottom of it is solid (no way for a wire to string through or hang a bell inside) so I can't imagine a light. *shrug*

Might be a bell placed on the tip of a fishing rod (usually for night fshing) to alert the fisherman when a fish bites.

Sorry, I didn't read your post completely before I posted my reply. I guess I'm wrong on this one.

Looks like a choke pull or other control from a boat or automobile.
When it comes to detecting, you will always find me "out standing in the field".
