I bought a brand new Tesoro Lobo Supertraq at a local prospecting store last March. I also bought a coil cover and an okay $50 pair of headphones.

I've taken it out several times and it finds everything (except gold), but I just don't have the time to use it, and when I do go out in the bush, I usually am gold panning or sluicing and the detector is pretty much useless for finding gold...

It's still like new and has been used so little that the original batteries are still in it.

I want to sell it to finance some more useful equipment but have no idea what to ask for it on craigslist.

It retails for $680 online, and about $750 locally...

This is a very good detector for finding gold nuggets, even small one grain pickers. I'd say keep it as when you want one again the price will be higher and you would have lost money. You only need one nugget.
