Best head phones.

I picked up a metal detector couple weeks ago but have not had a chance to use it yet. I've been hitting yard sales and thrift stores trying to find a set of headphones. Anyone have a suggestion on what kind I should look for. I'm probably just going to get a pair off-line or Walmart if I don't find any this weekend. Any thoughts?

The ones that feel comfortable and give a pleasant tone to your ears are what you're looking for. They could be any number of brands and designs based on your personal preference. As for quality, Grey Ghosts are a top brand as are some of the Koss's (but not all). Some people like ear buds, others, on-the-ear type. I prefer the around-the-ear version so it drowns out external noises and I can concentrate on what the target is saying. Try a few at your local audio store to see what feels good to you.

What MD are you using ? I have the AT Pro so I got myself the headphone adapter for regular use and run my Bose QC 2 .... So comfortable instead of the stock headphones supplied with the unit.
