I thought this was something interesting to share ... It was found MD-ing on a SoCal Beach. I had to clean it in acid just to see what it was. To my surprise, it was a 2000 New Hampshire Quarter that exploded from within. My guess is, that this coin was playing waaaay to close to a fire pit.

That is really cool. Looks like it was shot with a 22 until you see the perfect opposite side. I would like to know exactly what would cause that.
