I have a chance to buy a used Vibra-Tector pin pointer for around $75,gut tells me that it's water proof, just wonderimg about this brand, never here it mentioned here on Treasure Net.???

I have one. It is waterproof to 100 ft. I finally got to try it this past summer.. Found a couple of dimes with it underwater. It only has a detection depth of about 2-3 inches on a coin sized target. It would probably be useful for getting into tight areas, like rocks etc. Hope this helps.

I have one, and it is useful only for underwater detecting, and then only if you are swimming, snorkeling, or in very shallow water because the handle isn't much more than a foot long. I didn't use it much because a regular water hunting detector and a long handled scoop are much more versatile.

I have one and it works great. Just make sure you put a tether on it if you go into the surf or rushing river. It doesn't fit all that tight in it's holster and you'll probably lose it without one. It'll pay for itself if you just can't come up with that diamond earring that keeps falling through the scoop!
