Hey everybody! Well, the snow is starting to melt again because it has been raining, so I've kinda been preparing for metal detecting. Just wondering for all of the people who own Bounty Hunter Tracker IV's, what setting do you use? When I start detecting again after the snow melts I'll be looking for the gold, silver, jewerly, old coins, clad, and of course the junk. Keep in mind that I am not going to relic hunt! Just the jewerly importantly then the coins. Also with the setting that you suggest how far can the detector detect in that setting? Thank You SOO Much!!! :icon_thumright:

Thin gold chains and small jewelry like gold earrings can ring up as iron...so if you want it all...dig it all.

For "most" rings and larger jewelry...disc out iron and dig everything else. Be prepared to dig a fantastic amount of trash/junk. Best of luck...
