Looking to get a mid priced machine for a loaner and backup. Not really interested in the ATPro.
Was looking at the 705 and it has a lot of features for the price so you guys that have one what are your thoughts?

Of course depth is always good but ID at depth is better. I am aware of all the different things that affect depth and id.
Also 90%0of its use will be in town so how well will the 705 handle emi?
If any of you guys have some info.it will be appreciated.

Thanks
TL

Hi TL,

I used one for several years after I had the X- Terra 50. It's a good unit that can change frequencies by changing the coils. It has good depth, good ID, and is easy to use. Longhair is the resident expert on the X-terra line on Treasurenet!

I have some specials on new ones right now, and I have a used one with some remaining warranty coming in on trade the next few days.
