I hope this is right place to show some pictures, of my hunts and items that im collecting,if not please move this topic to other thread
I like WWI, Austro-Hungarian staff and Imperial Russia, every year im spending vacations in Poland with my metal detector
High in mountains early spring, you can still see trenches from winter battles, from December 1914 to Maj 1915 in Karpathy mountains , almost one milion soldiers died, huge part of them just froze to death.
Couple days in woods, with detector and good friends are always fun
Thank you,all is safe, that Austro-Hungarian shell is empty, fuse was 150meters from shell, and it fit perfect in shell, that round metal element(diaphrgram) on picture, is also from inside of the shell,it was pushing shrapnel balls.
Never have problem at airport, and im doing this trips couple years,Im taking with me only buckles, medals, bayonets, empty shells and fuses are send by sea

That area looks simply beautiful. Even if one wouldn't recover a thing, it would be wonderful to hunt there. I really like the belt buckles. You must have an amazing collection by now. Do you guys ever video your hunts there? If so, please post as I'm sure we would all love to view them. Big thanks for your photos!
