M.M. buck & Co St Louis RR Lock

Just found this lock in Epworth, GA. Looks to be in pretty good condition. Across the locking mechanism is the inscription T C CO. Which we believe to stand for Tennessee Chattanooga Company. Not sure of the age and would appreciate any information you may have.
