Finally got out with the Garret AT propointer

Well after using the original, then the Whites TRX I can say that I am very happy with it. It looks like they have made the on/off switch better meaning it is not a click on but more of a program on switch. Hard to explane what I mean.. I had a issue with my original holding on because it would not latch.. Also it does not false when you push the tip now. So so far it seems to work perfect. Like it much Better than the whites as well.

Good info on the ATPP.I hope to get one soon, since both of the std pro-pointers I have are beginning to false excessively which is a nuisance.

I've had one for a few weeks now, I love it. I've had some instances where it would pick up a target until I pulled it from the ground (and trying to located it in the dug sand) and then it had a hard time with it, but it does work very well.

I just stick it against the ground before I dig a target to see how deep the target is...it will go down about 3 inches. If it picks it up I can usually pop it out with a finger. Everything here is soft soil or sand.
