pictures will tell the story, I do believe i found my first button, that little thing with the gold in the middle. I also found my first Indian head cent, BUT i ruined it trying to clean it. Lesson learned. Im still scratching my head over how a marble end up in a hole i was digging. The 173 plate is my favorite by far. July is off to a good start, with over 7$ in clad. No silver yet but it will come, as i am going over most of the spots I've hit back in June. Slowly moving toward fresh ground.
