this time we hiked deep into the forest, where once stood a little schoolhouse....one of my favorite treasure hunts to date! It's the next to last hole that made my day

Yea I like finding Bells as much as finding the 18th Century Coins
They are both about as rare for me to find.

And when I clean a Bell out and hear it ring for the first time in over a Century,
that is Sooooo Awesome

Hi! Thank you!! I don't think it's a school bell, but rather one that was mounted on a horse-drawn carriage....but who knows! It's an exciting thought that it was used to call the children back in...really makes history come alive, doesn't it? At Christmas time it will hang over my fireplace, along with all the others.
