I don't know about that machine, but most any machine is complicated for a newbie. Jump in with both feet and go. Don't expect to learn it all in a couple of days, 'cause you won't, but you'll get there.

The Vaquero is easy to learn. All Tesoros are this way.

Yeah I think that model will probably only frustrate you to where you'll want to give up the hobby before it really even begins.

I will be more than happy to assist by offering you an even-steven trade for my P.O.S Bounty Hunter ;) The P.O.S is not part of the model number by the way ;D.

I have a Vaquero and so far it has done well. I only have about three hours hunting time with it but it pulled several coins from a hunted out spot. Good luck!!
