Anybody else have this happen? A buddy and I have been hitting a river ford lately, which is almost all the water hunting we have done all year long. Both of us have ProPointer ATs that are less than a year old. One trip his started beeping constantly and was going crazy. It got to the point where he couldn't turn it off unless he took the battery out. Eventually it stopped detecting anything altogether. He sent his in last week for repair.

The next trip to the river mine did the same thing. I couldn't put it on anything higher than minimum sensitivity or mine would do the same. Eventually would turn on but not pick anything up. A few minutes turned off in my pocket and it would be fine again, but then if I kept it underwater (shin deep at most) for more than a minute or two it would start going nuts again. Will probably send mine in this week....

Anybody else have this happen? If this is a problem that Garrett knows about, have they addressed it at all?
