On Monday, May 1st, my Youtube channel, Adventures In Dirt, hit 100 subscribers and I thought that was pretty cool because it took a lot of work to get there and it meant that I could secure my own customized URL.

Then, later that day, my friend texts me and says "you just won the SCdigger giveaway... you just won a new metal detector"... wait, what? I couldn't believe it. Out of over 700 entries, the random selector, selected my channel. Amazing.

I still dont believe it but here is a video about that stroke of luck.
