staring to get it

Today @ 630am went to a park and found my first painted rock beside a 5 cent 1994, then 2 more 1996 pennies. I had the boss of the park watched me dig holes and find things and put it back. I did not see him watching until he drove away. 1 of the workers came by smiling. I went to another and found the mother lode... of beer bottle caps and tabs. I did find a piece of steel in an oblong shape .75 inch thick x 2.5 wide x 3" long. It reminded me of a water meter flip top. The location is not where there ever had one. I will post pictures of my finds today soon. can't wait till in the AM.

Good job! Now you will find great things. It's a good thing you did a neat job of the digging since you were secretly watched.
I was watched by a park employee a month ago and thought maybe I was done. He came up and chatted about the metal detector
and thought it was an interesting hobby. I think most of the watchers are more interested in what we do rather than thinking
about chewing on us.
