I'm extremely hard on my equipment button also have an on-board pinpointer on my mind lab so I guess really the pro pointer is more of a backup. And I never said it doesn't act up LOL it just isn't worn off on the tip. It definitely has that problem where if you put pressure on it it sounds off. Been thinking about the carrot but hard to justify the expense when the other one still works

Wow Truth, you're not supposed to use the carrot in place of your Lesche if you forget it.:laughing7: Looks like a candidate for factory service to me for sure. Guess it is still working, just not waterproof anymore. Tell them you need the replacement with armored tip!

Do they warranty wear like that? If not, dip it into some epoxy to seal it up again....assuming it still works, that is.

This would be my third time in a year and a half and they always have fixed it. Right now it just overloads all over and I had it on the water the other day so I'm not sure if that's a reason I'm sure it is?

My turn was last week. I had a pin point switch, a hand held pin pointer, and a set of headphones croak within a span of about 5 minutes. Thought I was hunting in the middle of the Bermuda triangle! Good thing I had backups but annoying none the less.

Holy crap on a cracker, are you digging through pavement with that sucker?? LOL.....

I'm really surprised that they keep replacing yours, considering they clearly state "do not use this as a digger"......or something like that?

If I were Garrett I would send you a Minelab one and call it a day. :laughing7:
